Our IPC policy sets out measures to prevent and reduce the risk of infection for clients, staff and visitors in line with UK guidance.

Core measures

  • Standard precautions: hand hygiene, PPE, respiratory etiquette & safe waste
  • Environmental cleanliness, laundry & food safety
  • Isolation/precautions when infection suspected or confirmed (per guidance)
  • Outbreak management, reporting and learning
  • Staff training, supervision and vaccination (where recommended)
