Our IPC policy sets out measures to prevent and reduce the risk of infection for clients, staff and visitors in line with UK guidance.
Core measures
- Standard precautions: hand hygiene, PPE, respiratory etiquette & safe waste
- Environmental cleanliness, laundry & food safety
- Isolation/precautions when infection suspected or confirmed (per guidance)
- Outbreak management, reporting and learning
- Staff training, supervision and vaccination (where recommended)
